Something Fun

I do have something fun to tell. Since it premiered, I have been an avid viewer of The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I probably need to join a support group for this, but then that is another story. Anyway, when they were casting for the last Bachelorette (DeAnna) I called one of my amazing nephews and told him that he needed to apply. I thought DeAnna was perfect for him. He's smart, really adventurous, a real hottie and so much fun. He flies helicopters for the Army. Anyway, he humored me and checked out their website. He called me back and said that they wanted him to send in a video and he wasn't sure that he wanted to go to that much trouble. Being the loving aunt that I am, I told him to quit thinking of himself and think of me and just send the silly thing in. :) Actually, I thought that was the end of that, but he wrote me the other day and said he was forwarding something that I might be interested in. He had a reply from a producer with The Bachelorette. They wanted him to come to Los Angeles to be interviewed and make a tape. Then be there in late January for casting and filming in March. I was so excited!!! Sadly though, he had to turn it down because the Army is moving him to Germany in December and then on to Afghanistan. Also, he also is currently dating someone and thinks he may have found is own "Bachelorette". So close yet so far away. Oh well, it would have been so fun to have seen him on there, but I'm still really proud of him.

Later.
